Audiology doctoral programs prepare students for career in audiology or speech language therapy. Formally, audiology training begins at graduate level. Completion of audiology degree generally requires four years of full time study beyond the bachelor level. In addition, since it involves research and PhD programs, an audiology course will last at least for 5- years. As you must be properly certified and licensed as an audiologist. Licensure of audiologist is mandatory in all states. National certification of audiology is through ASHA(i.e American Speech–Language–Hearing Association)
